The three men, including a special constable, who were arrested for robbery with aggravation in May Pen, Clarendon, last Friday are to face an identification parade today.

Head of the Clarendon police, Superintendent Dathan Henry, said the men will be questioned in the presence of their attorneys before being placed on the identification parade.

According to police reports, a group of men went to a bar along the Toll Gate main road in the parish and robbed patrons of cash and several bottles of liquor before escaping in an awaiting motor vehicle.

An alarm was raised and the police who were notified went in search of the robbers.

The motor car was intercepted about 7:40 p.m. on Friday along the Bustamante Highway, and the occupants who allegedly fitted the description of the robbers, were held and taken to the May Pen Police Station.

A .38 revolver with 12 rounds of ammunition was also reportedly seized.
