The driver of the Honda motor car, Neville Graham, who ran into a bus stop along Spanish Town Road on October 24, killing two women, had his bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Graham, who has been charged with two counts of manslaughter, is to return to court on January 6, when there will be a preliminary examination into the matter.

Sixty-five-year-old Bernice Gary and 51-year-old Elser Stone, both of Henley Road, Kingston 11, were killed as a result of the accident.

Reports are that about 8:30 a.m., Graham, the driver of a Honda Partner motor car was proceeding along Spanish Town Road towards Three Miles. Upon reaching near White Lane, a car reportedly drove into the path of Graham.

It is alleged that Graham then lost control of the vehicle which reportedly mounted the sidewalk and crashed into the bus stop where both women were standing. Gary died on the spot while Stone sustained multiple injuries and was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where she later died.
