Stick with Richie

MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE meets the improving filly DANCE SO SWEET for the fourth time in tomorrow afternoon's Dye Job Sprint after nailing her at the wire going 1200 metres on November 6.

American-bred two year olds, MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE and DANCE SO SWEET had a battle royal on November 6, resulting in Omar Walker rallying the colt along the rail to beat the filly by a half length with Shane Ellis aboard.

DANCE SO SWEET was attempting a second-straight win since being treated with Lasix on October 2 when she beat UNCLE KEN by seven and a half lengths, posting 1:11.4 for 1200 metres.

It was an improved run by the filly since treated with Lasix, considering the colt had beaten her by almost six lengths in a previous race on September 15.

She has responded positively to Lasix and seems to have returned to the form she used to beat MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE by a length and a quarter at three furlongs straight when making her June 26 debut.

Not only has she looked improved at exercise, clocking six furlongs in 1:14.2 last Saturday morning, but returns a pound lighter whereas MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE has gone up by three in the scale, a four-pound swing.

DANCE SO SWEET's game plan will again see her trying to make all under Ellis, as she seems pretty consistent at 1200 metres.

However, MISMYRTLEBOY-RICHIE's job should be made easier this time around due to the presence of NYABINGHI, another American-bred who won at 1200 metres on his November 3 debut.

NYABINGHI won in 1:13.4, which pales to times recorded at the distance by MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE and DANCE SO SWEET.

However, she has speed, having also clocked 1:14.2 last Saturday morning, and comes in light at 50.0 kilos due to Georgina Sergeon's three-kilo apprentice claim.

Unlike the November 6 clash when he had to chase and overpower DANCE SO SWEET, MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE will be able to stalk and pounce on the tiring duo in the stretch run from where he should prove stronger than his used-up rivals.

Form players can make something of tomorrow's nine-race card as EARLY DREAMS, MR BUTCHER, MAYBE I SAY SO, MR SKILL and FREE FALL will be hard to beat.

EARLY DREAMS found only fit HIGH SOCIETY better on November 20 after the speedster had lost in a fast 1:13.1 to CLASSICAL BULLET. The form should play true, as EARLY DREAMS was always better than the bunch he's up against tomorrow and has no problem at a mile.

MR BUTCHER is down in class and should land the second at 1400 metres; Anthony Nunes' two-year-old, MAYBE I SAY SO, ran out her heart when fitted with a tongue tie and going down by three lengths to CARIDAD at 1100 metres on October 30. She's back with Lasix administered and won't lose at the same distance tomorrow among maidens.

MR SKILL is too quick to lose among open-allowance horses at 1000 metres straight, carrying 53.0 kilos at that, and down-in-class FREE FALL is a banker at 1000 metres straight.
