![]() Ricardo Makyn - Harbour View's André Fagan celebrates scoring against Waterhouse in a first-round match during the Digicel Premier League. Ryon Jones, Star Writer Two former champions will do battle tomorrow in this the 16th round of the Digicel Premier League when defending champions Harbour View journey to the Drewsland Stadium to face Waterhouse. The match-up between the two premier league kingpins is slated to commence at 6 p.m. Harbour View currently occupy fifth in the overall standings on 24 points. They had a below-par first round, but have given a better second-round display, which sees them leading the current standings. The Stars of the East should be confident going into the game, having only suffered one defeat at the hands of their opponents in their last 19 league meetings, which was a 2-0 home loss in the second round last season. Eleven of the encounters have ended in draws, including their first-round meeting this season, which finished one-all. Harbour View's coach, Donovan Hayles, is looking for his team to maintain their dominance over the Drewsland outfit. "It is difficult to say we want to do much different when we play Waterhouse because what we have been doing over the years is being very dominant over them," Hayles stated. "We would like, of course, to maintain that dominance," he added. Harbour View have not lost since the second round and are coming off a 1-0 win over Portmore United. "Our approach is to take all three points, that is the first thing," Hayles said. The last three games we have been doing fairly well. We have won 90 per cent of the games we have played in this round. "You have to try and win most of the rounds if you intend to win the Premier League, so the second-round final is the target, and after that we will also be targeting the third round," he added. Waterhouse currently occupy second in the 12-team table on 28 points. They are, however, still in search of their first win in the second round, after playing to three consecutive draws, against with one defeat. Their coach, Baris Johnson, is looking for his team to start getting maximum points from their games. "I think we need to do that if we are trying to get back in the second end-of-round final. We need to get some maximum points," Johnson said. "Where we have to focus most is how we transition when we lose the ball. If we can transition properly when we lose the ball, then I think defensively it will be difficult for a team to penetrate against us. "They (Harbour View) have quality players, but we will try and not allow them space and time to play. If we can go out and do that, it will be a keenly contested and good game," he added.
