Most police officers are hard working people trying to make a difference in the communities in Jamaica. Police respond to citizens the way citizens respond to them. If most people show respect, they will get respect.

Some police officers remain cool even under pressure. Others overreact. However, members of the public generally do not respect police officers and that is very sad, because they are good police officers who are endeavouring to do their work with dignity. Such officers should be commended.
