Go away, little girl |

Dear Pastor, I am having a problem. I am a young teenage girl and a British citizen attending school in Jamaica. I went to England for summer and fell in love with one of my longtime friends. He is 20. Before I left England, he told me he would never leave me and would have waited until I left school. We never had any sexual contact. I love him very much and he told me he loves me also. He is a chef. he left his job a couple of months ago and started a new job in the country. He will go away for days and don't call me. I spoke to his cousin, who is a dear friend of mine, and he said he has lost his phone that's why he has not called me in the last two weeks. She gave him my number and told him to call me and he said he would, but I still haven't heard from him. Pastor, could it be he doesn't love me anymore and he is fed up with me? Please give me some advice. S.M., Jamaica Dear S.M., You are not old enough to deal with love problems. You have just become a teenager and the young man is 20 years old. You should not be thinking about going steady with the young man. You should be concentrating on your school work and enjoying your early teens. You think you are in love, but you are not ready for a man in your life. Stop the nonsense and beat the books. The young man sees you as a kid and he is trying his best to keep out of trouble. Pastor |
