Claro Jamaica officially relocated its primary store in the Portmore municipality recently. The new location is at 6-7 Trade Way Centre in the Town Centre, the municipality's main business district. A number of Portmore's civic leaders participated in the official opening of the store, including Keith Hinds, the mayor; George Lee, the former mayor; Councilor Alrick Campbell, and Winston Wright, the chairman of the Portmore Citizens' Advisory Committee. There are Claro dealer locations available in several sections of the municipality. However, the Town Centre location will be the only Claro full-service customer access centre where customers can pay their bills, sign up for post-paid plans and deal with customer service issues. At the opening, Latoya Williams, Claro's media manager, said: "We are interested in meeting the needs of our clients. As our market share grows we have to expand our service and offerings to give comfort and convenience to our growing clientele. "Portmore cannot be ignored in this drive and we are making sure that it is easier and much more convenient for the residents in the municipality to access our products and services." |
