Woman remanded for psychiatric evaluation |

Shirley Bradley was again remanded for psychiatric evaluation on Thursday when she appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court. She is to return on December 10. Bradley is charged with uttering forged documents, attempting to obtain money by means of forged documents and forgery. from Bellevue On her previous court appearance, Bradley had said "my name is Shirley Bradley, that is my name and I am from Bellevue and Bellevue response for me.". Bradley went on to provide an inconsistent story in her attempt to defend herself against the charges. The court also heard that Bradley forged a TRN card, a national identification card and a COK card in an attempt to defraud COK Credit Union. her money She had, however, told the court, "is my money ... so I was trying to get it ... I have a fixed deposit there and another account,". It is alleged that Bradley went to COK, tendered documents in the name of Sheria Ashley and signed a form in the same name in order to collect a cheque. The teller, who got suspicious after noticing the ID picture did not resemble Bradley, alerted her supervisors who summoned the police. |
