The popular new series 'Stulla Wednesdays' saw a strong turnout from dancehall veterans and young stars last Wednesday night at the New Quad. For a dancehall lover, it was a chance not only to party but to see your favourite stars up close and personal at Stulla Wednesdays. Out partying at the weekly event were artistes such as: Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Harry Toddler and Bling Dawg. Also present were: Aidonia, Chino, Serani, Shaggy, Sizzla Kalonji, Keida, Stacious, Macka Diamond, Ding Dong and Bridgez. The dancers were also present with Ravers Clavers Crew, Black Blingaz, Shelly Belly, and more, apparently having a good time. Selectors Boom Boom and Swatch International kept the vibe going well into the early morning. When THE STAR arrived at the event after 1 a.m., the party was in a slow mood with a slew of soul music before kicking into a heavier tempo with old dancehall hits from Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Lady Saw, Spragga Benz leading pack with their earlier numbers. As the night progressed, the Quad slowly got filled as persons danced in the video light and enjoyed themselves until almost 5 a.m., before patrons slowly began filing out. |
