Rasenie keeps true to music |

![]() Rasbert Turner - Rasenie Rasbert Turner, Star Writer Entertainer Theobald Golding, also known as 'Rasenie', is no stranger to the music industry. Having started some 20 years ago, he said he still has the energy and determination to go forward. "The music has always been a part of me. I have realised more and more that it is really a serious business. So that is why I keep on trying to do my music to the best of my ability," Rasenie said. He told THE STAR that his music is a motivational factor for him, and he intends to remain relevant to the industry. journey ''When I started this journey years ago, my aim was to contribute to the music continually. It has not being easy, but I still continue to be determined to make a life out of my talent,'' the St Catherine-based Rasenie said. Theobald, told The Star he is still recording on his Rhino Cobre label, on which he did his first recording, Mama, in 2005, which got good rotation. Two years later, he did Protect the children with Luciano, which went number two on the E-strip chart. The Sligoville-born Theobald said he continues to do a number of local shows and is also looking to go overseas, if given the chance. Meanwhile, he intends to continue doing what he does best, which is music. |
