Two young men from the Sunshine City of Portmore in St Catherine have joined forces to form their own production com-pany - Bridgeview Productions.

Craig Bernard, a graduate of Kingston College, and Rodrick Mitchell, a graduate of St Thomas Technical, are seeking a slice of the proverbial 'pie' within the entertainment industry.

The group (Bridgeview Productions) was formed in the summer of 2009, and have produced songs such as No Money, No Love from Norris Man and Change Daily by Shawn Storm on a rhythm called All Night.

The business is a very challenging one and, as such, while both songs got airplay, it never did take off as how the group would have wanted them to. "After Norris Man recorded the track, he left the island so the push that the song needed from the artiste wasn't there," Said 21-year-old Bernard.

A year later and with a little more experience beneath their belt, the duo is gearing up for another release. This they hope will 'buss big' and propel them to a higher level, bringing them more recognition. "This rhythm is a fusion of reggae and hip hop, it's a nice beat, you can rock to it and catch a good vibe," Mitchell said.

Bugle, Chris Martin, Chuck Fenda (aka Living Fire) and Ras Penco are some of the artiste said to be featured on this rhythm set to be released in the near future.

Both young men are pumped up about this latest project and are eagerly anticipating the responses from the general public as well as their fellow producers. "Once we bring something good to the artistes, then only positive can come from it. And that's what we are all about, being different, as creative as we possibly can," Bernard pointed out.
