Dancehall's dynamic selecting duo, Razz & Biggy, recently left the island for a two-week mini tour consisting of eight dates in and around the Tristate area.

According to a release sent to THE STAR, Brooklyn played host to the first stop for Razz & Biggy on their north-eastern tour of the United States with their weekly event, 'Wah Gwan Wednesdays'.

The series - hailed as a must attend if you are in Brooklyn - has hosted many dancehall/reggae selectors and sound systems from within the United States and countries like Jamaica. It has also seen performances from entertainers like Richie Loop and Lady Saw. Razz & Biggy added to this illustrious roster on October 22. No strangers to the New York vibe, the duo thrilled the crowd with pleasing selection after selection.

Next stop was a town called Poughkeepsie, nestled on the east bank of the Hudson River. A fitting place for the duo to host their dance classes. Playing a string of hits and dance tunes, the patrons were sent into a frenzy soon after they took control of the turntables and that energy continued for the rest of the night. On what should have been their night off the duo joined dancehall star Serani at the Area nightclub in Queens, and needless to say, they rocked the house. Serani has become a favourite with the New York women and the selecting duo has their fans as well, together they gave an unforgettable performance.

The duo continued on to Hartford, Connecticut, on Sunday, October 24. The promoter promised an "energy packed" evening by the selecting engine that is Razz & Biggy, and it was, as they did not fail to entertain the packed venue. One patron shouted "Razz & Biggy a di baddis ting"!

The Razz & Biggy Global Express will continue this mini north-eastern tour until October 29, with four dates. This however, could be extended as promoters continue to make additional bookings, like it did earlier in the year, thrilling audiences in Europe, the Caribbean and other states in the US.
