THE STAR has received information that a police officer attached to the Mobile Patrol Division of the Island Special Constabulary Force is now in police custody after he allegedly sold a stolen car to another policeman.

The STAR was also informed that a civilian was involved in the incident which took place last week.

Reports indicate that the policeman who sold the car, did so in the middle of the night with the aid of a civilian.

Further details surrounding the incident were unavailable, as several attempts to receive information on the incident from the Organised Crime Investigation Division and other senior cops proved unsuccessful.
