Ascot, Tivoli clash in Group B thriller

Ascot High School will look to keep their hopes of advancing to the second round of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning alive when they travel to the Edward Seaga Sports Complex to tackle Tivoli in today's round of games.

With three games remaining, the spots are still very much up for grabs in the competition's Group B, although leaders Bridgeport are favoured to take the top spot and currently lead the group with 14 points after five games.

Tivoli are currently in second place on 13 points, three ahead of Ascot who are struggling to keep pace following a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to José Marti on Wednesday.

A win for Ascott could see them join Tivoli in second place and ensure a heated battle for progression. However, Tivoli, who also had a disappointing result away to Dunoon on Wednesday, will be looking ahead at possibly catching Bridgeport for the Walker Cup spot.

In group D Norman Manley (23) will look to keep their slim lead over Penwood (22) intact when they host Holy Trinity. St Andrew Technical (20) are still in the race for a spot, but must recover quickly from a midweek slip-up, which saw them held at home by Mona.
