Body found at the kingston waterfront

An unidentified body of a male was found about 2:30 p.m., at the Kingston Waterfront on Tuesday.

The body is estimated to be about 50 years old. It is of dark complexion, stout build and about 170 centimeters (5 feet 7 inches) tall. When found, it was dressed in a multi-coloured shirt, khaki pants and a pair of white sneakers.

There were no obvious marks of violence seen on the body. Post-mortem evaluation is pending. City Centre police are investigating.

YOUTH STABS MAN TO DEATH IN DUCKENFIELD, ST THOMAS

Hubert Gordon, otherwise called 'Bobby', 43 years old of Bamboo Corner, Duckenfield, Golden Grove, St Thomas, was on Tuesday stabbed to death by a 17-year-old boy in his community.

Information received from the Golden Grove police is that about 12:30 p.m., Gordon and the youngster had a dispute during which the 17-year-old reportedly used a knife to stab him several times. The police were summoned and they found Gordon's body in the road.

The accused remains in custody as investigations continue.

'PREPS' KILLED AT MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE

Tarrick Barton, also known as 'Preps', of a Mountain View Avenue address, Kingston 3, was shot dead by unknown assailants on Tuesday night in his community.

Reports from the Mountain View police are that about 9:30 p.m., residents heard explosions and summoned the police. Upon their arrival, Barton was found on the avenue with gunshot wounds.

Investigations continue.
