Rev Miller has bail extended

The controversial Jamaican Reverend Al Miller had his bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

He returns to court on October 14 when the matter will be mentioned.

Miller who had pleaded not guilty to perverting the course of justice and harbouring a fugitive, surrendered to the police for questioning after he was seen by a police team in the company of fugitive, Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.

He was charged by Organised Crime Investigation Division detectives.

Allegations are that Miller had said that he was escorting Coke to the United States Embassy in Kingston when he was apprehended.

Miller also assisted in the surrendering of Coke's siblings, Leighton 'Livity' Coke and his sister Sandra into police custody.
