The Rampin' Shop fever is still sweeping both the local and international scenes. To date, the single, which was done by Vybz Kartel and Spice, has attracted almost 5 million youtube hits on one person's account, and over one million on another viewer's account.

The single, which became a dominant force soon after its release and went on to attract the ire of many locals, including the Broadcasting Commission, charted on the Billboard charts and went on to become a staple on US radio stations including: Hot 97 and others.

continuous support.

Spice says, "I was surprised to see the response the song is still getting. Youtube provides a great avenue for fans to research the music of the artistes they love and what we realised while reading through the comments was that some people from different parts of the world are just hearing the song. So once again I have to thank the fans for their continuous support."

Spice has since then moved on to do a number of hit singles, including Slim vs Fluffy, Back Broad and, more recently, Jim Screechie produced by the Equinoxx label. The Jim Screechie single entered the FIWI Choice charts last week and this week shot from the number 20 position to number four on the charts. Spice says, "Those at FIWI Choice told me that they have never seen a single make such a giant leap on the charts, so I'm happy about that. The actual Jim Screechie video will be out next weekend. I hope the fans will love it as much as the song and I can't thank them enough for their support."
