The Williamsfield Police now have in custody 16-year-old Shantel Dale who turned herself in on Sunday night, after being on the run for a short while.

Dale was being sought by the police following a dispute which left her cousin, who was also 16 years old, dead.

The dead girl is Tajay Denton of Chantilly, Manchester.

According to police reports, last Saturday Denton reportedly intervened in a fight which involved her mother and her 16-year-old cousin.

During the fracas, a knife which was brought into play was used to stab Denton. She was taken to the Mandeville Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Dale had reportedly fled the scene after the incident. Up to news time last night, Dale had not been charged.
