Mixed results in South Central Confed league
Richard Bryan, Star Writer

There were mixed results for the parishes as the second round of the Juici-Patties South Central Confederation Under-15 and Under-13 leagues continued across the island mid-week.

Manchester and St Elizabeth continued their unbeaten run in the Under-13s, St Catherine maintained a 100 per cent record in the Under-15, while Clarendon were also able to rebound in the senior category.

At Prison Oval, Aldane Rattray scored twice and Javis Matthis once, as Manchester stunned hosts St Catherine 3-1 in the Under-13 match-up. However, St Catherine who won 1-0 in their opening game last Saturday against Clarendon, got the better of hosts St Catherine in convincing fashion, hammering the visitors 4-0 in the Under-15 match.

joint leaders

At West Park, Clarendon, Chris-Andrew Dixon scored his second goal of the competition as St Elizabeth beat Clarendon 1-0. They are now joint leaders with Manchester on four points in the Under-13 competition. It was Clarendon's second loss in the division having gone down 3-0 to St Catherine in their opening fixture.

Clarendon, however, made amends in the Under-15 clash - winning 3-0 as Ishmael Currie scored a brace and Jevaughn Waugh found the net once.

In third-round play to be hosted tomorrow in Manchester and St Elizabeth, Manchester will host Clarendon at Brooks Park starting at 1:30 p.m. and St Elizabeth will host St Catherine in Santa Cruz.
