I am involved with a guy who I really love, but my conscience has been nagging me endlessly. Our relationship was going great until we found out I was pregnant. We decided to work things out, but then his mother became involved. I have never spoken to his mother, yet she keeps saying bad things about me.

My boyfriend has fallen in love with the baby, but the thing that bothers me is that the child looks nothing like him. Based on the doctor's calculation, I became pregnant a month before I started having sex with my boyfriend. This is freaking me out. I don't know what to do as I have never cheated on him and the idea has never crossed my mind. He is a good man to me and I don't want to lose him. We have been through too much together. Sometimes I feel like confessing, but when I think of the consequences I keep silent. I only had sex once with a man who might have got got me pregnant. I'm confused and in need of your advice.

Go and do a paternity test and settle this matter in your mind. That is the only thing that will give you peace of mind.

Remember, your child will need to know his biological father, if at all possible.
