The body of 42-year-old Lavern Hamilton of Kew district, Hanover, was found with gunshot wounds at her home on Saturday night.

Reports from the Lucea police are that about 11:15 p.m., a family member returned home, found the body and called the police.

It is reported that residents heard explosions in the community about two hours before Hamilton's body was discovered.
