Munga pleads not guilty to weapon and ganja charges

Dancehall artiste, Munga Honourable yesterday pleaded not guilty to having an offensive weapon and possession of ganja in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.

Allegations are that police on duty in Half-Way Tree, stopped and searched the deejay, born Damion Rhoden. A knife and ganja were reportedly found.

Munga was last before the court in February when he was charged with possession of ganja. He was sentenced to pay $200 or serve 10 days on that charge. The deejay will be tried on March 22.
