Dead baby found in Riverton City dump

The Hunts Bay police are currently trying to find the mother of a new-born baby whose body was found yesterday morning at the Riverton City dump.

According to a release issued by the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA), the body of the male infant, which still had the umbilical cord attached, was discovered at the Riverton disposal site about 10:30 a.m., by employees of the NSWMA.

The police were contacted and the body taken to the morgue.
