Freddie McGregor rocks Negril One Love Reggae Concert |
|||||
Freddie McGregor - file Patrons who attended the third concert in the Negril One Love Reggae Concert winter series at the Negril Escape on Tuesday night were treated to a wonderful performance by veteran reggae star Freddie McGregor. As expected, McGregor delivered a slew of hits including Big Ship, I Was Born A Winner, Just Don't Want To Be Lonely, That Girl (Groovy Situation), Push Comes To Shove, Fever and Bobby Babylon during his set which was over an hourlong. He had the audience begging for more when he exited the stage and to their delight he did oblige their request for more and they loved every moment of it and did not hesitate to show their appreciation. The show was opened by Ras Noble who delivered some very strong cultural tunes. He was followed by Principal who kept the vibe going. Both artistes did well and were professionally backed by the Roots Warrior Band. The next show in the Negril One Love Reggae Concert winter series will be on Tuesday, December 8. This show will be headlined by legendary international dancehall duo Chaka Demus and Pliers. |
