Star Tell Me Pastor

Mi con man hard!

Dear Pastor,

Women live pretentious lives in which they seem to know nothing about a particular topic when indeed they are guilty to the very ground that they walk on. It seems you read my mind when you spoke on a topic recently on your Dear Pastor radio show entitled, 'How women manipulate men.' I sent you a picture not long ago of my house that I built. In that e-mail, there was a line in the letter that read, "If you ever know how I work hard." I also had another line along with that, but I deleted it. It had said, "ah nuff man mi con fi build dat." I chose to delete that line because I did not want to sound and seem unladylike in your midst.

Truth be told, Pastor, "ah pure manipulate mi manipulate man and tek dem money." There is no sex, no kiss, no hug, absolutely nothing that goes along with it. Mi nuh sleep 'round, but mi con man haaaarrrrrrrrd.

I started building my house 10 years ago, but people robbed me of my money. When I went home, I found that there was nothing but steel standing. I believe that is what you call 'karma.' So, I decided to start again. I still had problems with robbery, but at least "ah man money, nuh mine." I can count how much of my money went into this house because most of the time I was unemployed.

I look good and I have nice eyes and a nice smile. People would comment and say that I am 'boasy' and 'show-off' because I would repeatedly say that I don't need a man. Pastor, from me si seh a man ah give me a hint seh him like mi, ah gone mi gone. Just the money, honey! But, I will never sell myself.

B.L.

Dear B.L.,

I read you very well. You are one of the women who manipulate men and 'jinnal' them to get money. When you look at your finished house, Tom, Dick, Harry, Joe, John, Luke, Matthew, Mark and all the men in your life have their money in it. You might not have sold yourself but I believe some of them got a piece of you, if not all.

You may think that it is smart to bamboozle men and get what you want, but that is a dangerous game and you are setting a bad example for others.
