The second season of the Ity and Fancy Cat show ended on TVJ last Friday, but the many viewers - and even those who did not catch all or any of the 13 episodes - will soon be able to get their barrel of laughs to watch, rewind and watch again at will.

The two comedians told THE STAR that they will be putting out a DVD, compiled from this year's episodes. And although the final decision about what will be included is yet to be made, they are sure of some - like the Usain Bolt/Portia Simpson Miller skit.

"A nuh everything going mek the DVD, but some things have to make the DVD, like that," Ity told THE STAR.

Making everything available would simply be too much, as Ity says, "Some people jus want us give them the episode. We going end up with six and a half hours of material. So where we are right now is we doing a best of the best DVD package. We take every episode and out of it, based on the response and feedback on Facebook, based on the whole response ... ."

Fancy Cat chips in: "The thing we would a take out of it is like the Big Stands and us doing stand-up, you wouldn't have us doing the links."

"We find that the driving force behind the season is the skits, the video camera and the Ras," Ity said. "Yow! More Ras! Sen' on di Ras!" he adds, momentarily representing the enthusiastic fans.

The Ity and Fancy Cat Show fans will not have to do without their audio-visual fits and fixes of laughter for very long after the current season ends, as Ity says, "Right now, the producer has the entire season up to the most recent a go through. She a package it now because we want it as the season done!"

He claps his hands for emphasis.

There is no doubt that there is a ready and waiting market for the DVD. "People already a call the office daily, asking when are the DVDs going to be ready," Ity said. "Right now, Courts has already said they can distribute it and Courts has a store in every parish."

They also plan to have a presence across the island in the flesh, as Fancy Cat says they intend to do an islandwide tour. "A di first time we going do that, Ity and Fancy Cat live, we alone. A live special, like Chris Rock Show," Ity says.

one-hour special

"Is a one-hour special," Fancy Cat says. "So we plan to kick it off at Courtleigh Auditorium and take it from there. They named smaller venues like Christopher's in the Quad and the Village in Barbican and larger gigs at places like Backyaad and a Portmore stop among their plans. Fancy Cat also points to Blue Beat in Montego Bay.

"We just going go out an' stretch it out," Fancy Cat said. "Sometimes when we do some roadwork, you can't leave. By the time you say 'goodbye people' ... ."

"That never happen last year, to that level," Ity said. "We get the 'Yow, we like the show', but is like we turn star. It weird to we because we do this how long!"

They speak about going to the launch of Shaggy's charity effort for the Bustamante Hospital for Children and being unable to move because of the number of persons who wanted to speak to them.

"The response of the people them! It crazy!" Ity says.
