GEORGE HENRY, STAR Writer
Jerron and Gracion Henry are twin children of Everson Henry and Marion Jackson. They were born on December 2, 1996, but Jerron was the first to be born. Though they were unable to tell the time span between their births, Jerron believes he is the older of the two and so he thinks he should be the one to make important decisions for them both. They hail from Morgan's Paths in Clarendon and attend the Claude McKay High School in that parish. Gracion does not like being a twin, as her brother tends to take a number of her possessions from her whenever he gets his hands on them. Jerron on the other hand does not share his sister's sentiments and does like being a twin. However, he was unable to say why he does. "He is a little bit bossy and sometimes when I am to get some things; he thinks that he should be the one to get them. When I am to go out he believes that he should be the one to do so and I should stay home," said Gracion about Jerron. annoying at times Asked if they are close as twins, Gracion pointed out that that is the case but due to the fact that Jerron can be annoying at times, she tends to leave him sometimes when they are going out. Gracion is fond of having rice and peas and chicken meals, as well as meals cooked with curry. Jerron who has similar taste said he likes those meals too, but he also loves to eat corned beef and white rice. The two confessed that although they play together sometimes, it does not take place as much as other twins do. Both twins love church and school. Jerron is a lover of language arts and social studies, while Gracion loves social studies and integrated science. The two made it clear that although they practice mathematics, they do not like the subject. Gracion would like to be a lawyer, a teacher or a detective when she leaves high school, while Jerron has his hopes high on becoming a police officer or a soldier. He likes policing because he is happy whenever the police catch criminals and they are punished for the crimes they commit. "I would rather become a detective because I ask a lot of questions and I think a lot," said Gracion. protective Gracion noted that she is protective of Jerron whenever persons at school try to hurt him; however, according to her, Jerron is not like her. She said whenever she is involved with other students, Jerron just simply stands aside and watches. Jerron made it clear, however, that whenever his twin sister is hurt he feels it. The two also reported that whenever one gets ill, the other gets ill as well, as they tend to worry a lot about each other's feelings. |
