Dead robber identified |

The police have identified the robber who was killed during last Monday's attempted robbery at the Buff Bay Branch of the Portland Co-op Credit Union. He is 19-year-old Omar Duhaney of a Kingston address. His injured cronies remain in hospital. demanded money Police reports are that three men entered the establishment shortly after 9 a.m. The men posing as customers demanded money from a teller before shooting 39-year-old Martin Brown, a security guard who was on duty and the credit union. Two of the three alleged robbers were held hours after the incident while the third suspect was killed during a reported shoot-out with a police team in the bushy interior of Buff Bay, Portland. |
