Daniel Metcalfe is a singer born with a complete passion for music and has now seen his dream manifest into reality. The 31-year-old singer, who goes by the stage name 'Bankcraft', wants to introduce the world to his musical talent. "Bankcraft is looking to bring a blessing and positive energy to the people who love music. There is too much negative influence already in this world, so I would love to be a part of that change," he said. first single Metcalfe began his musical career in 2005, recording his first single, Sheep and Shepherd, at Scorpio studio in St Andrew. Metcalfe made it clear that he would not be the typical upcoming artiste who, once given the opportunity, normally fails to live up to expectation. For him, it's his deep connection with music which will propel him to great success in the future. "I found that there is a deep love for music in me and I believe this is one of the things that will push me further into music," said Metcalfe, who grew up in Portmore, St Catherine. confident Metcalfe also pointed out that he is very confident about his own talent but has drawn inspiration from reggae icons such as Bob Marley, Dennis Brown and Beres Hammond. Metcalfe is not yet signed to a record label but has recorded songs like Heights of Great Men, This Girl Is Mine and Love Is The Key. "My career is going good so far. The break in music comes when you enhance certain energy. So I have to build on that energy from day to day and it's in all that energy where you will get that breakthrough," he said, crediting his success in music to efforts and commitments from Power Mac Promotions. |
