Seven men charged with breaching the Solid Waste Management Act, after being accused of using debris to block the road last week, pleaded not guilty when they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. The accused persons are Travis Taylor, Rupert Daley, Adrian Francis, Damion Marshall, Tyler Marshall, Talbert Edwards and Marvin Folkes. The court was told that the men were all seen along Washington Boulevard using old refrigerators, trees and other materials to block the road during protests against the Budget last week. The matter will return to court on June 16 when the case will be tried. |
