"It's not official" are the words coming from Donald 'Iceman' Anderson and Christopher 'Johnny' Daley about reuniting as a comedic duo.

For the first time in about four years the two performed together at Owen 'Blakka' Ellis' farewell stand-up comedy show, which was held at Backyaad on Wednesday night.

"It's not official yet," Daley said when asked about reuniting with Anderson.

no problem

"I can tell you that Iceman has indicated that he would be interested if it's worthwhile. We have no problem sharing the stage but it has not yet been confirmed."

Anderson said they initially performed alongside another actor, Mark Danvers, who played 'Ratty' in Third World Cop in the late 1990s. The trio was called PAC (Professional Actors Committed). Danvers eventually migrated. Anderson and Daley performed together until four years ago.

acting roots

"There was no bitter feelings between us. It was just that we had different career paths that we wanted to pursue, but we have returned to our acting roots," Anderson said while noting that he is involved in music and Daley works in television production.

Daley recently did Jamaica To Rahtid and Anderson is in the last run of Which Way Is Out.

Anderson said he thoroughly enjoyed their Wednesday night performance and so did Daley.

"It was a wonderful reunion. We enjoyed it and called each other after. If it is to be then I guess time will tell," Daley told THE STAR.

old times

Anderson said: "It was pretty much like old times. I don't think we lost much of the chemistry and the delivery was fun."

At Blakka's show, Ity and Fancy Cat also performed, another comedic duo to hit the stage over the years. Ike (Florizel Glasspole) and Mike (Eric Coverley) was the first comedic duo in Jamaica. There were others such as Slim and Sam, Bim and Bam, Miss Lou and Maas Ran and Bello and Blakka.
