A woman who behaved in an unruly manner at the Norman Manley International Airport told the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court that she did so out of fatigue.
Shara Simpson appeared in court yesterday to answer to charges of disorderly conduct and using indecent language.
The court was told that Simpson behaved in a boisterous manner at the airport after she disembarked
a flight and was talking to airport
officials.
She pleaded guilty with explanation to the charges and told the court: "I was tired and frustrated and I had an infant with me. It was cold where I was coming from. I had some baggage with me and they told me that I couldn't go in the shorter line. But I did apologise to the people."
Simpson was fined $2,000 or 10 days for behaving in a disorderly manner and was admonished and discharged for using indecent language.
