Things did not turn out very festive for a man caught with firecrackers.
The accused, Donald Guthrie, appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday to answer to a charge of possession of unaccustomed goods.
The court was told that Guthrie was apprehended and searched by the police and the contraband found. He was arrested and charged.
