Four suicides in less than five days

In less than five days there have been four cases of suicide in the parish of St Elizabeth.

On Tuesday morning the body of John Peart, 41, unemployed of Breadnut Walk, near Ipswich in the parish, was found hanging from a tree after he chopped his sister-in-law during an argument.

On Sunday morning, 17-year-old Oshane Brown, a student of Lewisville High School, also hanged himself near his home in Clifton district near Newmarket in the parish.

It is reported that Oshane, who was doing work experience, was complaining that the work was too hard.

Oshane's body was found a few yards from where his father also committed suicide approximately four years ago.

On Saturday morning, Kristna McNickle, a 33-year-old man of unsound mind of Aberdeen district, was found hanging from a tree near the Aberdeen Primary and Junior High School.

In the first case last Friday, the body of Dario Ebanks, 18, of Flagaman district, was discovered by residents hanging from a tree.

It is reported that Ebanks had an argument with his mother about a $500 bill, after which he told his aunt goodbye and that he could not take it anymore.
