Dancehall duo RDX. - Winston Sill
RDX became popular due to its many dance songs but Delomar said the group touches other issues in its songs.
In 2007 RDX came to the fore with Dance. After that, the dancing fever intensified and they did other songs like Everybody Dance, Dancers' Anthem, Daggering and Bend Over.
As a result of these songs Delomar said people have been classifying RDX as dance artistes.
Talented
"We want Jamaica to see that RDX is very talented and we are not just stuck on dance songs. We read a lot and we open our minds. We are not just stuck in a box when it comes to music," Delomar told The STAR.
But even before the dance songs Delomar said RDX got some level of fame for, the group did a song called Don't Trust You Around My Girlfriend when they were called Xsytement Gang.
Number one
He said the song peaked at number one in the Bahamas and took the number 18-spot on BBC Echoes Chart in England.
Last year RDX also did social commentary songs like The Dream and Coming In. RDX also did another song called Set Good, which is geared at the female audience.
