FAME FM's memorable weekend

Cham - contributed

The consensus is that FAME FM's Heroes' Weekend affair was the place to be! Still fresh in the minds and on the lips of partygoers and station supporters, many are already anxious for next year's staging.

The weekend affair kick-started on Friday, October 17 with the western-edition Retro Party with The Captain - Collin Hines on the wheels of steel, serving up music of the yesteryears; they gave new meaning to the phrase: 'party like it's 1999'!

Then on Saturday, the FAME Road Party - Wicked and Wild edition - rolled around and even upside down. As far as the eye could see the FAME team sealed off the parking lot of the Jungle Nightclub. 'Supa Coop' Arif Cooper and 'The Captain' Collin Hines taking the party-peeps on a musical high.

Still craving more!

The After-Party, also staged at the Jungle, saw the masses literally cramming into the club, still craving more!

Then Sunday rolled around and it was the day many anticipated, particularly the females who were just longing for an opportunity to get up close-an'-personal with the internationally-acclaimed DJ, Baby Cham.

The Party Animal - Kurt Riley and DJ Inferno worked the crowd, serving up hit-after-hit, mix-after-mix, much to the patrons' delight. In a nutshell, Heatwave was the best-suited name for the FAME Beach Party; no other would've given it justice!!

With a highly interactive set, Cham gave the people what they wanted, plus brawta! It was a wet affair, people sweating, water hoses spraying everywhere, bodies swaying, jumping and bumping!!

The weekend was perfectly wrapped up with their Fireside After Party at Negril Escape with music by DJ Denvo and The Captain Collin Hines. It was a blazin' end to a blazin' weekend.
