Dressed in his very eye-catching costume, Harriott's props includes oversized eyewear, a tattered suitcase, a necktie and an old hat.
Last Saturday, while many were busy haggling with higglers over high prices, Omar Harriott, also known as Laskitman, was busy entertaining buyers and sellers inside Coronation Market, downtown Kingston.
Human twister
Harriot is a construction worker who also possesses the skills of an acrobat/gymnast/contortionist. To see him at work is to be amazed at the myriad of shapes that he can twist his frame into. He told THE STAR that he sometimes gets gigs in Ocho Rios, St Ann, and has been doing this since age six.
"It is better than stealing and turning to guns," he quipped as he passed his hat around for his
satisfied audience to show its appreciation.

With cheeks filled with air, Harriott assumes this position and holds it for several seconds while higglers take a break to enjoy the entertainment.
