If you missed the unfolding of Footloose, which was held at Peppers, Waterloo Road, then you passed up an occasion to remember.

Hardcore hits from the '80s and '90s, along with a lively crowd dominated by females, were the ingredients that made 'Footloose' enjoyable on Saturday night.

The event, which was packed with celebrities from the entertainment industry, dancers, and music lovers, lived up to the hype.

The show started with a friendly clash between deejays Julian and Speng. The two entertained the lively audience with songs from top artistes.

Dazzled by songs

He seems surprised to find us there, but wherever the party, and a hottie such as the one on his arm.

Deejay Julian emerged the winner, as voted by the patrons, who were dazzled by songs such as Admiral Bailey's Ole Time Something.

With the crowd's energy at full throttle, deejay Marvin took over at the turntables provided by Rennassaine's sound system.

Jimmy Cliff's Reggae Night and Forrest's Rock the Boat created huge uproars from sections of the crowd, which was dominated by couples.

The introduction of popular sound selector DJ Liquid to the set was timely. The atmosphere was already at fever-pitch and females were seen flaunting their bodies aggressively to the eager male patrons.

"Right now... its all about love, so let us enjoy ourselves, zeen, and show some love," Liquid said.

A series of Beres Hammond and Buju Banton collaborations rocked the crowd and the patrons went into a frenzy when Liquid played Galaxy P's Tickle Her Fancy.

Tony Rebel's Fresh Vegetable and Richie Stephen's Trying To Get To You shifted the mood and opened the gate for Shabba Ranks and Krystal's Twice My Age. Junior Reid's One Blood received a tremendous response, flashes from lighters and men banging on the fences.

The party then went into a carnival session where patrons waved and danced to soca tunes, some forming a train that circled the dance floor.

The show closed with dancehall songs from Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Monster Empire and the duo Tanto Metro and Devonte.

Nice pair of ... dimples. This woman turned heads as she strolled in to the Footloose party.
