So after a little girl (there is a very strong suspicion of who it is, but until it is officially confirmed we cannot definitely name her) was found badly decomposed, flung over a precipice, like a piece of trash, what is to happen to the person or persons who did that to an innocent, defenceless human being, if they are found? Jackass knows that many a person is dreaming up ways of getting rid of the person responsible as painfully as possible, but he also knows that there are those who study such things and people and are already cooking up some 'insanity' reason for the act.

'Silence of the Lambs'

Yeah man. It's like 'Silence of the Lambs', tropical island style. Some bright spark somewhere, when someone like the person or persons who did away with this little girl is found, will pop up with a wonderful reason why they did it. A deep psychological wound from their past. Somebody took away their toy truck when they were three years old. They lost their pencils just before GSAT and did not pass because of it. They did not get the Jansport bag they wanted in first form.

The world is not level at all because, with all this insanity that they are talking about, the supposedly insane people do not take on targets that can fight back. If you are really insane, rush Up Park Camp with a toothpick. Take on a police patrol with a slingshot. Step in front of a bus speeding on Spanish Town Road, put up your hand and say "hold on!", like Ninja Man. Go into the middle of Spanish Town and say "One Order and Klansman man dey wid one anadda!"

That is insane, not taking advantage of a little girl and disposing of her like garbage.

Jackass must give thanks, though, that Jamaica is not like America in that regard, as they seem to take delight in saving the worst of criminals for posterity.

Standard cop story 'works'

(Then again, America is much better than Jamaica at catching those people in the first place). There are times, Jackass hates to admit, that the standard police story "...after the shooting subsided the area was searched" does work.

It is not the first time that a little girl has been killed and in such a terrible way but, because we tend to forget things easily, everytime it seems to be something new.

Forget so easily

There was the child lured away from Coronation with the promise of a patty. There was the little girl burnt in her home off Torrington, as gunmen stopped people from rescuing her. But, we forget sooooo easily.

What we need is a sustained state of 'madness', not insanity but mad at the people in our midst, who would harm little children like this.

Then, we would be vigilant, each of us, and the chances of these things happening would be reduced significantly.
