"Mi did see it, mi did envision mi self inna di 'moment' (celebrating Usain's record breaking run in the 100m) till people all a call mi an a sey yuh really sing dah song deh before di Olympics? This has really lifted me in terms of my own creativity and my ability - is a glorious moment," dancehall artiste Wayne Marshall told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Marshall, recorded and released a song titled The Moment, at least one month before the Olympics in Beijing, China, which predicted Bolt's success there.

"All these things taking place now were said before the Olympics - di song come out bout a month before di Olympics. Mi deh a mi yard one night an mi jus a si di visions of glory, so mi decide fi mek a anthem," Marshall said.

According to Marshall, "When we were shooting the video at the stadium, Bolt was at Stadium East training an him hear sey wi ova deh an sen come call wi. When wi guh cross, mi a tell him sey him a guh bruk di record. Wi ova deh, all a dance, cause is a man whe wi party wid more time, an mi a tell him sey a suh mi want him took it to dem, cause wi did deh deh a Nuh Linga an Gully Creep."

Right now, Marshall says there are plans of doing another version to his song that will include other artistes.

"The song is like an anthem, suh mi did all a talk wid Freddy McGregor an him a sey is a good song, wi fi sing pon it an get odda artiste fi sing dem sentiments pon it," he said.

Marshall also says, "Mi also appreciate all wha mi si di Government a do - and even the promotion whe all this a do fi wi all; ova di world, it just a reinforce the greatness whe people did know we as Jamaicans have. Look fi dem yout yah a smash di record inna di 4x1, memba mi tell yuh."
