For this contestant feature, The STAR speaks with Blane Whitefield, one of the members of the group, Kahlil.

THE STAR: Who do you think is your major competition?

Kahlil: "I think everyone is. They're all great singers."

THE STAR: What do you think of the talent on the show?

Kahlil: "Well, I mean everyone there is bringing it. I find it interesting to work with such talented people. It boosts us to put in more work on our performance."

THE STAR: Who is your favourite 'Rising Star' winner of all time?

Kahlil: "I'd have to say Christopher Martin."

THE STAR: How has the show impacted on your life?

Kahlil: "Wow ... less privacy; there's a lot in the little time we've been in the competition and the exposure has increased. Our fan base has expanded. I might add that there are a lot more female fans."

THE STAR: Which entertainer, local or International, would you most like to work with?

Kahlil: "Beenie Man."

THE STAR: Which 'Rising Stars' past contestant/winner would you not want to compete against?

Kahlil: "Hmmm ... I'd never back down from a challenge."
