Three killed in Seivwright Gardens

Dwayne Mcleod, Staff Reporter

Gunmen went on a rampage in Seivwright Gardens, St Andrew, killing three persons and injuring another in two shooting incidents which occurred only minutes apart.

In the first incident, 64-year-old Leslie Williams, a mason of Flinch Crescent, and Sean Davis, 35, a labourer of Canary Avenue, were shot and killed while they stood on Woodpecker Avenue.

Police reports are that about 1 p.m. a car drove up beside the men and the occupants pulled guns and opened fire, hitting them both and killing them on the spot.

Three minutes later, on Mahoe Drive, a car fitting the description of the car allegedly involved in the first incident drove up to a wholesale store.

Two men reportedly alighted from the vehicle, went inside the building and opened fire on the customers, killing 39-year-old Mark Pennant, a resident of Hitchin Street, Allman Town, in central Kingston.

Another man was also reportedly shot and injured.
