Double play

Dear Pastor,

I am a 19-year-old girl. My problem is that I have two boyfriends and the both of them are loving, caring, kind and nice.

One migrated for about a year, but he is back in Jamaica now. When he was leaving I was a virgin, and now I am not because of circumstances, and I am afraid to tell him because I don't know if he will still care for me or even want to be my friend.

Please, tell me what to do. He still thinks I am a virgin.

N.B., Clarendon, Jamaica

Dear N.B.,

Tell this man that you have a new boyfriend and that he should not think of you as a virgin anymore.

Tell him that you still love him, but you know that he would not be pleased about what happened.

Pastor

Don't pretend that all is well. It will be wrong to give him the impression that you have not had sexual experience. In fact, it might be better for you to suggest to him that both of you should end the relationship.

Pastor
