An 83-year-old man is now dead and his 58-year-old female partner is facing murder charges following an incident in Portmore, St. Catherine on Wednesday evening.

According to police reports, Jasper Fung, the deceased, was visiting his female companion in Garveymeade at 8:45 p.m., when they had a quarrel. The argument escalated into a fight, during which knives were drawn and Fung was stabbed. He died on the spot.

The police were called to the scene and the body was subsequently removed to the morgue for post-mortem.

The Bridgeport police are investigating.
