Dear Pastor,

I have been seeing a young lady in America. Everyday she'd tell me that I am too good to be true, just because of the area which I am from. Anyway, the other day I took her to the movies and I ran into an old girlfriend. Another day while I was at her house, a text message came on my phone. It was my ex-girlfriend telling me we need to talk. She said that she wanted to see me in private. I asked her what was it that she wanted to talk about and she told me we needed to get back together, no matter what.

Anyway, I told my girlfriend about the text message and ever since that day, everything changed. My girlfriend keeps saying that she is going to lose me to this girl. She even started to force marriage on me really hard. I am on a visa and I have to go home in three months time. She doesn't want me to go home because my ex-girlfriend lives in Jamaica and she says I won't come back. And, if I don't she is going to kill herself. She cries everyday, saying I am going leave her. So, I have to be there for her.

Please tell me want to do, sir, because I love her very much. I need help to help her.

If you love the woman in America more than the one in Jamaica and feel that both of you would be happy together, marry her. Tell the woman in Jamaica that you have made up your mind to marry the girl in America. If you believe that you need more time, tell the one in America not to try to push you. It will happen in due course.
