Young star QQ shows off his dancing skills. - Ricardo Makyn
By Andre Jebbinson, Staff Reporter
QQ says he is a normal student. But while his job as an entertainer means he is not your average high school student, there are things that make him similar to his peers. He spoke with THE STAR about school life at Calabar High where he is referred to as Kareem Dawkins and not QQ.
THE STAR: What are your favourite subjects?
QQ: Mathematics and religious education. Maths because I always get my highest grades and religious education because it teaches us about God.
What is the best thing about school?
I get to meet new friends and hear their different stories.
What is your least favourite thing about school?
Some teachers are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. Some have students as their boyfriends.
How do you get to and from school?
I have a driver who takes me in the morning and picks me up in the evening. Sometimes my parents pick me up.
What would you change about school?
I would change one law. Teachers should play by the rule and not kick it out of proportion.
