The VMBS-sponsored boys 4x800m open at tomorrow's Gibson Relays should be another of the exciting events on the all-day card.
Kingston College (KC), winners at the Western Relays, Holmwood and Manchester High, should be the teams in contention.
KC's coach Lennox Graham, said they are in with a good chance of taking this title.
"We do have a chance to win," Graham said.
"We have a strong 4x800m ... it's a young team, but a strong one," he explained.
"We have Donahue Williams, the captain Danzeto Cephas, and we also have Adrian Bonner and Andre Pickersgill," concluded Graham.
The KC team ran 7:50.88 at Western relays to win their heat, but were second overall to University of Technology (UTech).
Manchester High, who finished third overall, but second behind UTech in heat one in 7:51.52, could prove to be KC's biggest danger.
Manchester High's coach Jerry Holness said his boys are expected to give a good account of themselves.
"We should be anywhere among the top three," he added.
"I know KC are the team to beat. They were the top boys school at Western Relays."
"We did not run in the same heat, so I am expecting once we get a chance to run together, it's going to be a competitive race.
Daren Lindsay, Alwayne Green, Brandon Whynes and Jermaine Morrison look the likely quartet for Manchester.
Holmwood, who finished fifth at Western Relays, should not be counted out as they are being prepared by top distance coach Edward Hector.
