Challenge the Ninja today - win a chance to appear on Sting

Ninja Man said he has found true love, which keeps him off cocaine. - Ricardo Makyn

King of clashing, the Star's Artiste of the month, Ninja Man, may be a lyrical aggressor, but when it comes to his family, the lion is tamed. To Ninja Man, family is of prime importance in his life.

With 26 baby mothers and 27 children, Ninja Man has a large family to keep him in check. "My family life now, I'm one of the happiest man in the world. Sometimes it's like heaven a go burst inna mi. Mi married already and mi married again. Every day mi walk, a mi wife dat beside mi. A no Bounty- Beenie ting, it's not for di world fi see me and my family," he said.

While most artistes talk about the support of their family, for Ninja, family support goes both ways. He said "to get family support, you haffi give more than a 100 per cent to get back. You haffi give support to get it back. Di one who knows more, teaches more; so mi haffi give my input."

His input includes his thoughts on the music business. While Ninja has been in the business for years, he has reservations about his children getting involved in today's music. "Tell yuh di truth, mi nuh want dem in it, but mi nah discourage dem. Mi nuh interested in the levity and vibe of music now for dem fi be in it. But mi have a daughter (Samantha Balentine) claim seh she want to be an artiste. So mi a carry her a Sting see if she capable."
