Artiste Turbulence has extended a hand of friendship to his ex-girlfriend Sasha.
Turbulence whose correct name is Sheldon Campbell, performed the title song X-girlfriend from his new album at the No Violence in School Tour in Waterford Portmore on Tuesday.
He denied that the song was inspired by his ex-girlfriend Sasha whose correct name is Karen Chin, who is also a singer and DJ, but rather he said it was about relationships generally.
"Sometimes you're with somebody and yuh mind flash pon somebody else and yuh wish it was that person you were with," he said.
The song carries the line, 'I'm still loving you though you're gone.'
The two parted ways according to Turbulence because she could not satisfy one of his needs.
"She did not want any baby because of her career," he said, adding that he wanted to have children.
"So mi haffi go where mi can get kids," he said. "No disrespect to har though," he added.
Turbulence said he has since moved on with his life.
"I am with someone else now, one of my baby mother," he said."But if she want financial
support, if she want a friendship,
if she want back di wuk, mi deh yah. A joke mi a mek," he said laughing.
