Dear Pastor,
I am writing this letter to inform single women to be aware of falling in love with Jamaican men, especially policemen. They use you for everything you have and move on. I made that mistake nine years ago. I thank God that I was able to leave that marriage with my house and pension but not before he took my CA$4,000. I even supported his extended family.
I know most of us lonely woman feel that we are above other men living in Jamaica, but I can personally tell you that they don't make enough money to buy us three steak dinners on any given month. I plead with all young women, wait on the Lord, for He takes care of His own. I was lucky, you may not be. Now, I only visit Jamaica on my one-day cruise. That man spoilt it for me, and I am sure many others.
God bless you, pastor, for your advice to so many.

Dear B.D.,
I regret hearing that your marriage did not last and that you feel betrayed by your husband. Nevertheless, I am glad you are happy and enjoying life as a single woman. May God grant you wisdom as you face the future.
